I don't exactly know what brought this on, but lately I have been thinking of how blessed I am to have such amazing and wonderful friends! As with everyone, I have had a few who have hurt me, but that doesn't overpower the goodness of my other friends.
Heather:

My social life in F-Town would not exist without this girl. She may only be 4" tall and doesn't even weigh triple digits, but she NEVER fails to surprise me with her humor. She truly makes any activity fun and is always full of good ideas.
Kedra:

We have spent sooooo many times in nothing but tears because we are laughing so hard. She is one of my few friends who can make me do that. She is graceful, courteous, and classy!
Jessica:

Pretty much she is the funniest girl ever. It's weird because there is not 1 person in this world who doesn't love her. She is dedicated to every friendship and is so caring to others. I know she has literally saved many of her friend's lives by being there for them.
Ashlee:

Ashlee seriously has changed my life (for good!). I value our friendship so much because she teaches me SO MUCH! Whether it be a good recommendation on a tv show, being dedicated and passionate about life, how to be more healthy, or just to have a good time, I learn so much from her. She is the most thoughtful person I have ever met. Three words for this girl: passionate, polite, and generous.
Erin:

Erin and I have the best friendship because even though we haven't lived together in years, our relationship picks up exactly where it left off. I am so glad I have kept in touch with this girl because she is so fun to talk to! She is also cool because we like the same movies.
Lindsey:

Lindsey is my soul sister. I cannot contain my laughter thinking of all the crazy things we have done. I am so happy I was able to live with her in high school and college and truly feel like we are sisters. I love this girl because she is still friends with me even though she knows all the crazy things about me.
Hannah:

This girl saved my life in college. It was so great to be able to work, study, and play with my best friend. Even though she was married, she made time for me and always thought of fun stuff for us to do. I missed her so much when she moved away from Provo and I hope that one day we can live by each other again!
Sarah:

I wish this was a picture of us doing coat check. I think we have been friends since the minute I was born. I am so glad I was able to spend my childhood with her and grow up with her! She always looked out for me and made me laugh.
And last but not least, my mom and sister!

Sometimes I feel like we are triplets. I love their enthusiasm and spunk for life. They can make any situation fun. They are so caring about everyone and everything around them. I also love them because they constantly build me up and compliment everything I do. They truly make me feel special.
I have several other AMAZING friends and am so thankful! What did I do to deserve these wonderful girls? Ladies, thank you for loving me for who I am and always being there for me.

{ temple trip }
My YSA ward went on a "Temple Trip" last week and visited the Manti, St. George, and Las Vegas temple. Obviously, we all had a GREAT time!
Highlights from the trip:
*8 girls voluntarily packed in a small living room sleeping like hampsters while staying up late having girl talk. I learned some very interesting things about my friends.....good blackmail material.
*Doing the rap for the Mesquite YSA. Pretty much they have no personality and just stood there while Carli performed one of the greatest raps of all time.
*Getting dolled up for the BBQ. Punk music blaring, hairspray fumes filling up our lungs, flat irons being passed around, 10 girls surrounding 1 mirror, random dance moves, and trying on several outfits.
*Reenacting the Fellowship of the Ring running through the mines of Moria by us running in our towels through the gate. Heather (aka Frodo) barely made it.
*Naming Carli S24 and Heather turning into a gansta at night.
*Working on our German accent by using the word Das in every sentence.

{ baby blocks }
My cute friend Sara had a baby shower last week and seeing as I was in a crafty mood, I searched marthastewart.com and was inspired to make some cute baby blocks. My other adorable friend Ally is extremely cute and creative so she helped with this project. This is what we came up with:

The picture obviously does not do them justice but they turned out really cute. Amazing what a bit of wood, scrapbook paper, stamp pad, and modge podge can do.
Here are the blocks wrapped up:

These blocks were time consuming but easy so I recommend this gift to anyone!

3X
Have you ever loved a movie so much you are able to watch it twice in one day? Well sadly I beat my own record and watched a movie three times in one day. Even more sadly......it was Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. Wow. Words do not express my love for this epic film (hehehe). I saw this movie as a young freshman in college but totally forgot about it until I watched it a few days ago at the gym. If you are in need of a pick-me-up, I highly recommend this movie. And if the dancing and gorgeous outfits aren't enough, the music will be.

The GOOD The BAD & The UGLY
I'm sure we are all aware of the recent eco-friendly grocery bags craze sweeping through America.

The BAD & The UGLY
But have you ever thought about why we should decrease the number of plastic bags we consume each year? The answer is HERE.
The GOOD
Besides the fact that these eco-friendly bags are helping to save mother nature, you can also rest assure that you can do this in STYLE! I recommend www.reusablebags.com.
Now, I admit, once-in-a-while I forget to grab my "friendly bags" (as I call them) from my trunk before I enter the grocery store. So, if you find your stash of plastic bags growing, consider these creative options before you throw them away (or recycle them at Albertsons or Walmart):
1. 1. Tiny Trashcan Liner
2. Doggy Duty
3. Water Balloon
4. Roadtrip Rubbish
5. Soggy Laundry
6. Ice Pack for Head Lump
7. Toiletry Tote
8. Kitty Litter Liner
9. Tomorrow’s Lunchbag
10. Care Package Padding
11. Knee Pads while gardening or changing a tire (to protect the pant)
12. Makeshift Rain Hat
13. Easy Kitchen Clean Up (while peeling fruits and veggies)
14. Wrapping Paper
15. Wet Umbrella Holders
16. Planter Fillers (for large pots)
Click HERE for more info on the above.
Please let me know if you have any more ideas or tips on plastic bags!
